NEUROSURGEONS RESPECT THE BENEFITS OF COOPERATIVE SPINECARE

During the last three months the American Academy of Spine Physicians (AASP) has experienced unprecedented growth of its neurosurgical membership. New members include neurosurgeons in private practice and neurosurgeons on staff at University Medical Centers. There is an obvious growing appreciation for the role of chiropractic in conservative and cooperative spinecare.  The expansion of the membership provides the AASP with an enhanced opportunity to facilitate the development of regional interdisciplinary spinecare referral networks.

The online Directory was developed by the AASP a few years ago to assist the public in locating a spine specialist. It has become a valuable resource for physicians, patients and the public. Licensed chiropractic physicians and neurosurgeons are eligible to become AASP Directory members at no charge.  Credentialed AASP members continue to receive distinguished recognition on the directory. To learn more about the online directory simply go to http://www.spinephysicians.net/.
