INCREASING VISIBILITY: THE NEXT STAGE OF THE PATIENT INFORMATION CENTER (PIC)

The American Academy of Spine Physicians Editorial Committee will soon complete their review of a large volume of information which has been written for the online AASP Public Information Center (PIC). The information includes topics such as spine disorders, the spine physician, technological advances in the spinecare field and leading-edge non-surgical and surgical approaches to spine disorders.

This need-to-know information will be added to the current online AASP database so that it may readily accessed by physicians, patients and the public through the AASP website or AASP member websites. After completion of this next stage of development, the AASP will share select information from the PIC with other organizational websites and will include a click through link for access to additional information on the AASP website.

This method of sharing information will increase AASP visibility as well as visibility of credentialed spine physicians on the National Directory of Spine Physicians.
